The water in the air will exchange water with the material in contact, which means that the dry air will absorb the water in the material and contain the water in it until a dynamic equilibrium of water exchange is reached. Deteriorating substances originally containing moisture or making production immutable.

Maintaining a continuous and stable moisture level for natural cotton fibers and man-made fibers is critical for effective trouble-free operation throughout the processing industry. Otherwise, a series of problems will occur during storage, such as failure-free delivery of raw materials, loss of broken wires, loss of weight and loss of original quality, etc. The flocculant and the hair are easily suspended in the air in the dry environment for various dusts in the workshop at the same time, which affects the normal production. If the air humidity reaches a certain level, the suspension will absorb the moisture in the air and become the fluff on the ground. Maintain a good working environment and reduce harm to the human body. These problems can be avoided if the humidity is kept between 45% and 90%, depending on the processing material.

At present, there are several humidification measures in the domestic textile industry:

  1. Sprinkling method: Some workshops sprinkle water on the ground, which can be slightly relieved, but it will make the ground messy and affect the production efficiency of the entire workshop. Only the use of air evaporation can not play a good humidification effect. Some workshops use electric heating to generate steam, which can also achieve a certain humidification effect, but it also increases the cost. Electric heating requires a lot of power, usually several kilowatts, which goes against the energy-saving and emission-reduction policy advocated by the state.

  2. The use of air-conditioning humidification: This is a relatively advanced method, but the investment in air-conditioning is relatively large, the maintenance cost is also high, and the humidification effect is not good. According to the different sizes of air-conditioning humidification in the workshop, it can only meet the standard requirements of about 30%. , far from meeting the humidity requirements of textile workshops.

  3. Humidification by humidifier: This is the most economical way at present. At present, various humidifiers, high-pressure micro-mist humidifiers, ultrasonic humidifiers, electrodes, electric heating, evaporation type, etc., can meet our humidity requirements. But the premise is more economical and more convenient, then it is the right choice for us.
