What is the principle of air purifier

  K5 Air Purifier

  There are two working principles.

  1. The principle of passive air purifier. The air is drawn into the machine with a fan, and the air is filtered through the internal filter, which has the effect of filtering dust, odor, and disinfection. This filter is composed of HEP, activated carbon and electrostatic filters with different functions. The HEPA filter filters dust particles, and the activated carbon filter is used to absorb odors.

  2. Active air purification principle. The biggest difference between active and passive principles is that active air purifiers are not limited by fans and filters, and do not need to wait for air to be drawn into the system for purification and then discharged. Instead, it directly discharges purification and sterilization factors into the air, and floats through the air to all parts of the room for comprehensive purification.

What to pay attention to when using an air purifier

  1. Stable placement

The air purifier should be placed smoothly, the bottom and the contact surface should be kept flat, and it should not be placed against the wall or furniture. It is best to keep a space of 1 meter around to ensure the smooth entry and exit of the machine, so as to achieve a better purification effect.

  2. Close the windows when the air pollution is serious

When using an air purifier, if the outdoor air quality is poor, it is best to close the doors and windows immediately to form a closed type to improve the purification effect of the air purifier. In addition, if you use a machine with a humidification function, it is not recommended to use it in a rainy or high temperature environment, which will reduce the purification effect.

  3. Turn on and use time

The air purifier does not need to be turned on every day. It is only used when the air quality is not good. If the negative ion function is enabled, the corresponding function must be selected to generate negative oxygen ions. In addition, if there is no one in the room, you can turn it off or use the timer function.

  4. Other matters needing attention

When the air purifier is not in use, turn off the power supply. If the filter material is maintained or replaced, it should not be turned on until it is installed to prevent water droplets from entering, and the purifier should not be used next to water sources or volatile items.
