The most common ultrasonic humidifier on the market working principle

At present the most popular on the market is the ultrasonic humidifier. It mainly produces ultrasonic waves through the high frequency oscillation of the nebulizer, and then pulverizes the water into very fine particles of 1-5 microns (equivalent to PM1-PM5) through the cavitation of the ultrasonic wave, and then diffuses the water mist into the air through the pneumatic device, so as to play the role of humidification.

Ultrasonic humidifier is the mainstream variety in the market, the price from dozens of yuan to 3, 400 yuan have

When the humidifier works, it is not only water that is atomized by the ultrasonic wave. Impurities, bacteria, metal ions and other impurities and bacteria in the water will also float into the air with the water mist. In particular, particulate matter with a diameter of less than 2.5 microns (PM2.5) can pass through layers of barriers of the human respiratory system to the inside of the alveoli unimpeded, and then enter the blood circulation. As a result, other impurities and bacteria in water spray particles can enter the human body through the respiratory system, causing illness and even death, as the case of the humidifier disinfectant in Korea shows.
