1. According to the humidity requirements in air conditioning engineering, we further divide humidification into two types: process based humidification and comfort based humidification:
1. In modern industrial production and scientific experiments, the importance and requirements for air humidity are increasing. If humidity cannot meet the requirements, it will cause varying degrees of adverse consequences, such as:
1) The humidity requirements for electronic factories, semiconductor factories, programmable control rooms, explosion-proof factories, and other places are generally between 40% and 60% RH. If the relative humidity is not enough, it can cause an increase in static electricity, reduce product yield, damage chips, and even cause explosions in some explosion-proof places, The harm brought by "electrostatic bombardment" is immeasurable. When the air humidity is below 40% RH, static electricity is easily generated. Although many methods have been taken to remove static electricity, increasing the air humidity to above 45% RH is absolutely effective.
2) The humidity requirements of textile factories, printing factories, film factories and other places are generally very high, generally greater than 60% RH. For example, the humidity requirements of textile factories are generally between 50% and 85% RH. High humidity is required to prevent static electricity in the yellowing section and mirabilite crystallization in the spinning section. The moisture content of cotton fibers directly affects the fiber strength. In short, the air conditioning of textile workshops is mainly to ensure the relative humidity required by the process. Insufficient humidity during printing and film production can lead to inaccurate color registration, paper shrinkage and deformation, paper adhesion, and decreased product quality.
3) The humidity requirements for precision machining lathes and various measuring rooms are generally between 40% and 65% RH, such as precision bearing precision machining, high-precision marking machines, mechanical measuring rooms, electrical measuring rooms, etc. If the humidity is not enough, it will cause a decrease in the accuracy of processed products and distortion of measurement data.
4) The humidity requirement of the product coating workshop is generally greater than 60% RH. If the humidity is insufficient, it will cause a decrease in the adhesion of the paint to metal or plastic, uneven spraying, and a decrease in surface smoothness.
5) The humidity requirements for pharmaceutical factories, operating rooms, and other environments are even more necessary, and clean humidification. If the humidity is not sufficient, it will cause problems such as decreased drug grade, increased bacteria, and difficult wound healing.
6) In addition, in places such as cigarettes, cold storage preservation, food moisture regain, aging experiments, cultural relic preservation, gravity testing, protective decoration, and rehabilitation centers, humidity requirements are high. With the development of modern industry, the issue of humidification in air conditioning engineering will become increasingly important. Although the humidification requirements in some southern regions are very short, some only take 1-2 months, as long as the process requires it and the quality of the products produced remains unchanged, the humidification issue must be considered.
