　　Past Lives of Essential Oils The first records of essential oils come from ancient India, Persia, and Egypt; Greece and Rome conducted a large trade in aromatic oils and ointments with Eastern countries. Her charming femininity and her dazzling beauty were mostly attributed to a mysterious, precious and unusual balm at that time. This balm was extracted from flowers, which is the natural plant essential oil that we know today.
