  K3 Home air purifier

  Generally, electrical appliances will have industry standards to standardize manufacturers to make and produce according to corresponding standards. Our standards for selecting air purifiers can be based on certain specific indicators, and air purifiers include 4 indicators in the new national standard: CADR , CCM, energy efficiency rating and noise standards, as the core indicators for assessment.

  1. CADR value depends on cleaning efficiency

  CADR value, that is, the amount of clean air. It refers to the amount of air that can be purified in one hour, and is a key indicator to measure the speed of air purification. For example, the larger the value, the more air that can be purified per unit time.

  Two CADR values are mentioned here, one is the CADR value of particulate matter (solid) and the other is the CADR value of formaldehyde (gaseous).

  Attention should be paid to distinguish the two concepts of particulate pollution and gaseous pollution.

  Particulate pollution includes dust, debris, pet hair, PM2.5, etc.;

  2. The CCM value depends on the durability of the filter

  The quality of the filter can be judged by the CCM value. The CCM value indicates the total amount of pollutants that the filter can filter. The larger the CCM value, the longer the life of the filter. The filter has been used for a long time and needs to be replaced. If the filter CCM value is low, the filter should be replaced frequently. The CCM value is divided into the particulate matter CCM value and the formaldehyde CCM value like the CADR value. The particulate matter CCM value is represented by P, from low to high: P1, P2, P3, P4, formaldehyde CCM value is denoted by F, divided into 4 levels, from low to high: F1, F2, F3, F4, the higher the level, the longer the service life.

  3. Energy efficiency rating

  The energy efficiency rating represents the level of power consumption of the machine, and the volume of clean air that can be generated for each kilowatt-hour of electricity consumed. Because the air purifier is still used for a long time, the level of this indicator can save us a lot of money. We are not unfamiliar with this indicator. The first-level energy efficiency level common in appliances such as refrigerators and air conditioners is the same. Gao Yue saves electricity!

  4. Noise level

  The noise of an air purifier is related to CADR. Generally speaking, the larger the CADR, the internal fan of the machine must increase the speed, so that the noise will increase accordingly. Therefore, controlling the noise level is the test of the manufacturer’s air duct design, The density of the HEPA filter and the integration capability of the fan.

  The highest requirement of the new national standard is that the maximum noise of an air purifier with a CADR value of 450m³/h or more should not exceed 70dB (A). A good air purifier can reduce the noise to 60dB under the condition of a high CADR value.

  If you don’t have the patience to read the above content, then see the last here, sum up the core formula of buying an air purifier:

  High-quality air purifier = high CADR value + high CCM value + high energy efficiency value + low noise
