Air purifier industry standard formulation

However, it needs to be pointed out that the problem of uneven product quality and mixed results in the purifier market still exists. In the context of the State Council's vigorous implementation of the "Three Products" special action, how to improve product quality has become a key focus of the air purifier industry. As the core component of air purifier, filter plays an important role in improving product quality. Therefore, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology established the industry standard 2015-1760T-QB "Electrostatic Dust Filter for Air Purifiers" (hereinafter referred to as "Electrostatic Filters"), and completed the verification and approval. According to Lu Jianguo, secretary general of the Cleaning Appliance Branch of the National Household Appliances Standardization Technical Committee, the standard is expected to be released in October 2017 and implemented around May 2018.

It mainly put forward corresponding technical requirements and test methods for electrostatic dust collection filters, and used this as the scope of application of the standard; It is closely related to the single filtration efficiency, wind resistance, ozone release, input power and other indicators for particulate matter. "Although this standard only applies to air purifiers, fresh air products can also be used as a reference." At the review meeting, the standard interpreter emphasized.

　　"Electrostatic Filter" puts forward three technical requirements of appearance requirements, filtering performance and safety requirements. Among them, the filtration performance focuses on evaluating the four indicators of single filtration efficiency, wind resistance, input power and performance after cleaning; the safety requirements mainly evaluate the unique ozone and fire protection of electrostatic dust collection filters. Ran Hongyu, chairman of Beiang Technology Co., Ltd., said: "On the basis of the current national standard GB/T18801 "Air Purifier", this standard regulates the test method of electrostatic dust collection filters, corresponding to the technical requirements, and emphasizes Test method for the filtration performance and ozone safety of the electrostatic dust collection filter after cleaning."

He said: “In the standard, there is no stipulation that the performance of the product after cleaning must reach what value, but the ratio of the cleaning to the initial value is given. The initial value of the test is carried out in accordance with the instructions provided by the supplier.” “Electrical Appliances” reporter Browsing the "Electrostatic Filter" standard submission for review found that the standard requires that the single filtration efficiency of the electrostatic filter after cleaning should not be lower than 90% of the actual measured value of the initial single filtration efficiency.

　　For the ozone problem that consumers are more concerned about, the standard also puts forward requirements. Lu Jianguo stated that there are already national mandatory standards for ozone, so the standard directly quotes GB4706.45 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances: Special Requirements for Air Purifiers", including before and after cleaning. The test method is in accordance with the provisions of GB4706.45, each test time is 24 hours of continuous operation, and samples are taken every minute to detect the ozone concentration. The ozone concentration under the rated air volume at the initial and after cleaning shall not exceed the regulations of GB4706.45.
