What kind of water should a humidifier use?mini humidifier

The weather characteristics in the north determine that the air has less moisture and the air is dry. In this case, it is necessary to use an air humidifier. However, when using humidifier, it is necessary to pay attention to the correct use methods, especially the problem of water using in humidifiers. So, what water do you use for an air humidifier?

　　1. Many people add tap water directly for convenience. This is incorrect. Tap water generally contains minerals and bacteria in it, and the minerals in tap water will also precipitate. The formation of small scale will also affect the service life of the air humidifier.

　　2. In addition, the hardness of tap water is relatively high, and the water mist sprayed by the air humidifier contains calcium and magnesium ions, which is easy to pollute the indoor air. Causes trachea constriction, coughing, chest tightness and other symptoms, if it is an asthma patient, it is easy to cause asthma. Therefore, we all recommend using distilled or purified water.

　　3. If you have a well in your home, the well water is better. Because the well water is groundwater and has no pollution. It is healthier to use it in an air humidifier. If it’s restricted due to various conditions, it is also can to use tap water, but it is necessary to boil the tap water and then use it after cooling.
