What is the composition of ultrasonic humidifier? The principle of ultrasonic humidifier is to use over-frequency oscillation (oscillation frequency is 1.7MHz, and there are also 2.4MHz), by using the high-frequency resonance of the atomizer, to break the water droplets into tiny floating particles of about 5 microns. Stay away from the water surface in the natural state, so that the suspended water mist is continuously produced, and finally the air is humidified. Because 1.7MHz exceeds the human hearing, so the ultrasonic humidifier is derived from this. So what is the composition of an ultrasonic humidifier?
Ultrasonic humidifiers generally have components: power supply, power switch, water level detection, fog volume control, working status display, fan output control, atomizing film, etc., Now let me introduce these components separately.
1. Power supply
The power supply part is generally dual input, one is to supply power to the fan, and the other is to supply power to the oscillating board. If the oscillating board and the fan voltage are the same, it can be used as one. If a transformer is used in the power supply board to supply power to the oscillation circuit and the fan after stepping down, rectifying and filtering, this kind of relatively simple and simple switching power supply circuit, but the transformer is also too bulky, especially for mini humidifiers, It can be said to be a burden, but sometimes the design of a switching power supply circuit is more complicated, depending on the actual situation.
2. Power switch
If the potentiometer adjusts the amount of fog, the starting position of the potentiometer is the position where the power is turned on. When the potentiometer turns on the power, it also starts to adjust the amount of humidification, but if it is controlled by a PWM signal, this connection position can be directly short-circuited.
3. Water level detection
Water level detection now mostly uses a reed switch and a magnetic ring to detect water shortage. Reed switch is a kind of magnetic sensitive switch, usually made of two soft magnetic materials. Simply put, the two reeds are not in contact when there is no external magnetic field. Once they encounter enough magnetic field, they will close. Therefore, when there is no shortage of water, the magnetic ring is floated by the water, the magnetic field closes the reed switch, the control board detects the signal change, the oscillation circuit starts to work, the green indicator light glows, and the humidification is turned on at the same time; when the water is lacking, the water level drops The magnetic ring is far away from the reed switch. At this time, the contact of the reed switch is opened, and the humidifier stops humidifying and disconnects all outputs. The red color shows the water shortage state at this time. There is also a water surface probe to detect water shortage, which is rarely used.
4. Fog control
There are generally two ways to adjust the amount of fog: PWM signal and potentiometer. If it is a potentiometer adjustment, many humidifiers are basically realized by adjusting the bias of the oscillation tube, and the PWM signal is a signal input, whether it is a potentiometer or a PWM adjustment, in the final analysis, it is through adjustment. The voltage input size is adjusted by the principle of voltage division. Generally, mechanical humidifiers are adjusted by potentiometer, while electronic humidifiers are controlled by PWM signals.
5. Working status display
The red and green lights are used here to indicate the two states of humidification and lack of water without humidification. When there is water shortage, the switch contact is released, and the red LED lights at the same time, indicating that there is water shortage at this time; when there is no shortage of water, the switch The contact is closed and the green LED lights up at the same time, indicating that there is no shortage of water at this time. You can also use a digital screen, etc. to display different working states.
6. Fan output control
The voltage of the fan is generally 12V, 24V, 36V, etc. The oscillating plate breaks the water droplets into tiny particles to be continuously blown away by the fan, so that water mist is continuously formed. When the water shortage is detected, the fan is also turned off at the same time. The fan can also be on the control board, see the specific oscillation board circuit.
7, Atomization film
Atomizing sheet is made of a ceramic material. It is a special object that can disperse water droplets into water mist through high-frequency vibration. It is generally circular, and the two wires are shielded wires.
The current humidifiers are becoming more and more mature, and the oscillating plates are also becoming modular, and some oscillating plates have their own anti-dry function. Generally only need to design control circuit, power supply circuit, display circuit, and the functions are becoming more and more complex. Some humidifiers also have UV lamp sterilization function, automatic temperature and humidity control function, and negative ion function.
