At present, household humidifiers on the market generally use ultrasonic waves to atomize water, and the atomized water vapor is blown out of the shell through a fan to achieve the effect of humidifying the air. The electrical schematic diagram is shown in the attached figure. After passing through a switching power supply, the mains power outputs two voltages of 36V and 12V, with 36V supplying the water vapor atomization module. 12V power supply fan. In the circuit, D1 and D2 are respectively water shortage indicator lights and work indicator lights; The reed switch is a liquid level detection switch; RT1 is a potentiometer for adjusting the size of fog. Using 02 as the core and its peripheral circuits as the ultrasonic generation circuit.

1、 The working principle of the diffuser

After turning on the power. Switching power supply outputs 36V and 12V. When the water storage tank is not yet placed on the base or when there is a shortage of water in the tank, the magnet moves away from the reed pipe and the reed pipe pops open. Ql is conducting, the water shortage indicator light Dl is on, and the working indicator light D2 is off; Q2 has no voltage at the base, and the ultrasonic circuit does not vibrate. When an appropriate amount of water is added to the water storage tank, the magnet approaches the reed pipe, and the reed pipe closes. QI is cut off due to its base becoming high. At the same time, D2 lights up and Dl goes out. The current passes through the reed tube and is divided by R3 and R6. It is then sent to the ultrasonic generator circuit through R5 and RT1. The ultrasonic generator circuit vibrates, producing mist that is blown out of the housing by the fan, achieving the effect of humidifying indoor air.

  2、 Common troubleshooting

[Example 1] The atomized water vapor cannot be blown out of the shell.

Maintenance: Turn on the heater, plug in the power, and find that the fan is not running. After removing the fan, if the power output of the switch is 12V and normal, it is judged that the fan is faulty. After replacing the fan, the fault is eliminated.

[Example 2] No response when powered on.

Maintenance: Connect the power supply and measure that there is no output at 36V and 12V, indicating a switch power supply fault. After disassembling the switch power supply for inspection, it was found that the rectifier part had blackened out. After measurement, it was found that one rectifier diode (1N4007) was damaged. After replacement, the fault was resolved.

[Example 3] Water vapor atomization is weak, and the adjustment knob does not work‘ Maintenance: After measurement, the output of 36V and 12V was normal, and there was no breakdown phenomenon in Q2. There was no blackening of the resistance and capacitance components, but it was found that there was a lot of dirt in the water storage tank, and a layer of scale had accumulated on the surface of the energy exchange device and the bottom wall of the water tank. After thoroughly cleaning it during dining, it was powered on, and the atomization effect returned to normal.

Tip: In daily use, many malfunctions of humidifiers are caused by scale. Therefore, the water storage tank and liquid level detection part of the humidifier should be cleaned regularly to prevent dirt deposition. If conditions permit, pure water can be considered as humidifier water
